Biblical Masculinity Scares Evil Leaders

Biblical Masculinity Scares Evil Leaders

2 MIN READ ◦ DOUG GILES

Before Jesus formally stepped into his earthly ministry, when He was a wee little baby, merely cooing and pooping in his swaddling clothes and breastfeeding off the Virgin Mary’s mammaries, He had King Herod try to kill Him.

Herod was an insecure, toady, little leader who was extremely paranoid that someone was going to take his authority from him.

Herod killed anyone, including friends, family, and foes, whom he deemed a threat to his control. Google it if you don’t believe me. His paranoia was the stuff of movies. Ergo, when Herod found out that there was a male baby who was born King of the Jews, well ... he was having none of that.

Jesus’ masculinity was a direct threat to the beta-male Herod’s rank insecurities.

At first, Herod feigned respectful interest in Jesus, but that was a hot steaming pile of stercore tauri.

Herod wanted to kill that baby because he thought He was going to eventually take his political position, which he had connived so long and hard for.

Herod’s supremacy was on thin ice with this male Christ-kid around, and he’d kissed too much Roman butt to let some Galilean grab his gavel.

Yep, this power-hungry dude was threatened by a male baby born into the prophetic purposes of God, and the rest is bloody history, how he had slaughtered all the male children in the greater Bethlehem area just to get at Jesus.

Herod was the consummate, jealous/power hungry politician who’d stop at nada to preserve his power. Kind of like the envious, soulless and specious political swamp critters on the Left and the Right who’ve made a very comfortable living off average American taxpayers during their near-eternal feckless stints inside the Beltway. They, too, don’t want to lose their power, their control, their luxury condo, their mistresses, their lifestyle, their special interest mega-money, their CNN gigs or anything else they are clinging to, and they’ll come after anyone who threatens their dream, starring them as the center of the universe, with razor blades and lemon juice. Indeed, they too are driven by the same pathetic, envious fear that saddled satanic Herod.

This war on boys, birthed to and bridled by the eternal purpose of God, has been seen before. In Exodus 1:16, Pharaoh ordered the death of all Hebrew male babies.

It appears as if wicked oppressors are always interested in undermining the masculinity of the oppressed.

Nothing suits a pathetic culture and political tyrants more than their subjects’ losing access to masculine role models filled with the warrior spirit. That’s why they came after Moses and Jesus and why the Left, in particular, are trying to eradicate masculinity from our culture and your son and grandson. And here’s why: genuine masculinity is a threat to oppressive governments and policies that enslave people.

And as stated, evil leaders start when the boys are young.

Our current bevy of misandrists might not be advocating for the death of boys, but they sure as heck think that their masculinity is toxic and thus they’re attempting to drug, shame, and cajole them away from the God-given testosterone fog that the Trinity naturally hardwired boys to dwell in.

Pharaoh, Herod, and today’s man-haters know that the masculine ‘seed of the woman,’ in its infantile state, will eventually grow up to crush serpents, and these el Diablo-inspired control freaks can’t have that now, can they?

Keep Your Head on a Swivel 2 MIN READ ◦ DOUG GILES "The joy of the Lord will arm us against the assaults of our spiritual enemies and put our mouths out of taste for those pleasures with which the tempter baits his hooks." - Matthew Henry Paul closes with this: “Be on the alert…” (Eph. 6:18b) That’s not casual language. That’s urgent. Because you can have everything— and still lose— if you’re not paying attention. Most people don’t fall— because of one big moment. They drift. Slow. Subtle....

He lays out all the armor— then finishes with prayer. Not as an add-on. Not as a side note. As the thing that activates everything else. Because without...
