Jesus Was A Terrifying Toddler

Matthew 2:1-16

“Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, magi from the east arrived in Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we saw His star in the east and have come to worship Him.” When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him...
… Then Herod secretly called the magi and determined from them the exact time the star appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the Child; and when you have found Him, report to me, so that I too may come and worship Him.”
… Now when they had gone, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, “Get up! Take the Child and His mother and flee to Egypt, and remain there until I tell you; for Herod is going to search for the Child to destroy Him.”
… when Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi, he became very enraged, and sent and slew all the male children who were in Bethlehem and all its vicinity, from two years old and under…”

Before Jesus formally stepped into his earthly ministry, when He was a wee little baby, merely cooing and pooping in his swaddling clothes and breastfeeding off the Virgin Mary’s mammaries He had King Herod tried to kill Him.
Herod was an insecure, toady little leader, who was extremely paranoid that someone was going to take his authority from him.

Herod killed anyone, including friends, family, and foes, who he deemed a threat to his control. Google it if you don’t believe me. His paranoia was the stuff of movies. He makes Jim Carrey, Charlie Manson, Zelda Fitzgerald, Syd Barrett, Vincent Van Gogh, Jussie Smollett, and Brian Wilson look centered, gracious, and easy-going compared to him. Ergo, when Herod found out that there was a male baby who was born King of The Jews, well ... he was having none of that.

Jesus’ masculinity was a direct threat to the beta-male Herod’s rank insecurities.

At first, Herod feigned respectful interest in Jesus but that was a hot steaming pile of stercore tauri.

Herod wanted to kill that baby because he thought He was going to eventually take his political position which he had connived so long and hard for.

Herod’s supremacy was on thin ice with this male Christ-kid around and he’d kissed too much Roman butt to let some Galilean grab his gavel.

Yep, this power hungry dude was threatened by a male baby born into the prophetic purposes of God and the rest is bloody history, how he had slaughtered all the male children in the greater Bethlehem area just to get at Jesus.

Herod was the consummate, jealous/power hungry politician, who’d stop at nada to preserve his power. Kind of like the envious, soulless and specious political swamp critters on The Left and The Right who’ve made a very comfortable living off average American taxpayers during their near eternal feckless stints inside the Beltway. They too, don’t want to lose their power, their control, their luxury condo, their mistresses, their lifestyle, their special interest mega-money, their CNN gigs or anything else they are clinging to and they’ll come after anyone who threatens their dream, starring them as the center of the universe, with razor blades and lemon juice. Indeed, they too are driven by the same pathetic envious fear that saddled satanic Herod.

This war on boys, birthed to and bridled by, the eternal purpose of God has been seen before. In Exo.1:16 Pharaoh ordered the death of all Hebrew male babies.

It appears as if wicked oppressors are always interested in undermining the masculinity of the oppressed.

Nothing suits a pathetic culture and political tyrants more than their subjects’ losing access to masculine roles models filled with the warrior spirit. That’s why they came after Moses and Jesus and why, The Left, in particular, are trying to eradicate masculinity from our culture and your son and grandson. And here’s why: genuine masculinity is a threat to oppressive governments and policies that enslave people.

And as stated, evil leaders start when the boys are young.

Our current bevvy of misandrists might not be advocating for the death of boys but they sure as heck think that their masculinity is toxic and thus they’re attempting to drug, shame and cajole them away from the God-given testosterone fog that The Trinity naturally hardwired boys to dwell in.

Pharaoh, Herod and today’s man-haters know that the masculine ‘seed of the woman’, in it’s infantile state, will eventually grow up to crush serpents and these el Diablo inspired control freaks can’t have that now, can they?

Jesus & Illegal Immigration 7 MIN READ ◦ DOUG GILES I think I have heard more about “Jesus” from the Left when it comes to illegal immigration than on all other political issues combined. It’s funny how they bash Christians and mock the Bible, and yet they toss Jesus’s name around like a fat doobie at a Snoop Dogg concert when it comes to “why” we should embrace a foreign invasion on our Southern border. They warble on about “Jesus was an immigrant”. Uh … no, he wasn’t. His folks fled to Egypt...

32 Tell-tale Signs You're A Man-Child 1 MIN READ ◦ DOUG GILES Below are thirty-two tell-tale signs that you might be a Man-Child that righteous and rowdy, Godly women, will purposefully avoid. You’re nicer than Jesus. You’re a pouter. You’re addicted to fun and allergic to godly duty. You skip church for lame “reasons”. You sound like Britney Spears when you talk about serious issues. You’re a mama’s boy. You drink from a straw. You take way too many selfies. You are biblically illiterate....

This Grand Trait Epitomizes Biblical Masculinity 6 MIN READ ◦ DOUG GILES When one thinks of a Christian young male nowadays the word “hero” does not come to mind, by and large, generally speaking, now does it? I know I didn’t think, "hero," with regard to the churchy males I interfaced with when I was an honorary member and senior leader of the local West Texas branch of The Teenage Wasteland Club. Matter of fact, the lack of heroism in the Christian male collective I came in contact with was...
