6 Biblical Habits to Depopulate Hell

6 Biblical Habits to Depopulate Hell

Dear Young Warrior: If you wanna tick off el Diablo and truly please The Rock of Our Salvation I’d do the following...

Number One. Read a physical, not digital, Bible in public. That’ll make anti-theistic snowflakes’ heads explode. Plus, it’ll encourage other young Christians, who’re ashamed of the Word of God, to cowboy up and read it in public as well. In addition, some holy and hot girl might see that you don’t care who sees you read the Bible in public because you love God too much to fear men and she’ll want to marry you and have 15 kids with you. Or something like that.

Number Two. Read the Bible all the time. The powers of darkness are going to assault you constantly so you should be in the Word of God constantly. Duh. Become an expert swordsman with the scripture. Memorize it. Meditate upon it. Learn that book from front to back, from Genesis to Revelation, and from soup to nuts. Don’t be a casual Christian with the Word of God. That’s disgusting. That’s what tinkerpots do. Oh, by the way, Christ said the half-baked Christians make him wanna vomit (Rev. 3:16). So don’t dilly-dally regarding knowing the Scripture. Go all in. Master it.

Number Three. Read, pray, and meditate in the Word of God at least thirty minutes a day. Some young clown is thinking, “Man, that’s a lot. I don’t have time to do that.” Yes, you do. What your flesh and/or what some demon just told you about “not having enough time” is a lie. You do have the time. If you have time for gaming, porn, endless videos, and talking to your girlfriend for hours on end, then you have at least thirty minutes a day to renew your mind with the Word of God. So, quit lying to yourself about not having enough time. Make the time and watch God richly bless your life.

Number Four. Focus on getting closer to God when reading the Word. Don’t just read to get historical intel and mere head knowledge of the scripture. Demons can do that (James 2:19). The Devil knows the Word of God better than most Christians. The late atheist of note, Christopher Hitchens, who was no fan of God, had a mighty amount of Bible knowledge but that didn’t help him at all. When you’re in the Verbum Dei, ask The Lord to reveal Himself to you. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you His way. Ask Him to make His word shape you into a force and not a farce, for His glory.

Number Five. Get a hard copy of the Bible. When I got converted at the ripe old age of twenty-one, I devoured the Scripture. I think I destroyed, through use, four Bibles in three years. One of the Bibles I kept together with duct tape I had beat up its binding so badly. The cool thing about having a physical copy of the Bible versus a mere digital one is you can write in it. I’ve got some Bibles that look like Hillary Clinton’s coloring book after she lost to Trump in 2016. You can barely read the page because of my margin notes. If something flicks your switch, highlight it and/or underline it. If God shoots a promise into your heart via the Word of God, date that bad boy and claim it, and watch God bring it to pass. Feel free to use and abuse that Bible for His glory. If you’re not thrashing your Bible, then it’s probably not doing you any good. Wear it out and then leave it for your kids and grandkids to have after you croak.

Number Six. Let the Word of God shape your view of family, Church, culture, and politics. Crass cultural icons and big government goons hate having the Word of God butt into their plans for satanic domination. Wherefore, young squire, let the scripture sculpt how you view the world and not some devil-worshiping, flesh-loving, vapid dork in DC or some harlot in Hollywood.

Get A Job Before You Get A Dream 1 MIN READ ◦ DOUG GILES One thing that gets overlooked about Joseph is that before God dropped an epic dream on him the scripture states that he “was pasturing the flock with his brothers while he was still a youth…” (Gen.37:2). So, what’s my point? Well, it’s this junior: Joseph had a job. He wasn’t living off mommy’s American Express card. He wasn’t some pasty skin, indolent, indoor boy. The young dude ran livestock. He’s not spending fifty hours a week...

5 Dangers For Young Men 2 MIN READ ◦ DOUG GILES 1. Pride “Young men, do not be too confident in your own judgment. Stop being so sure that you are always right, and others wrong. Don’t trust your own opinion, when you find it contrary to that of older men, and especially to that of your own parents. Age gives experience, and therefore deserves respect.” 2. Love of Pleasure “Youth is the time when our passions are strongest, and like unruly children, cry most loudly for indulgence. Youth is...
